OUR STORY - We grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where we became high school sweethearts :) We then attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh together and graduated in 1997. Gina completed a Bachelor's Degree in Communications (radio/tv/film) and became the news director for WFSS 91.9FM in Fayetteville, NC. Kurt received a Bachelor's Degree in Business, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and assigned to Fort Bragg, NC.
OUR FAITH - We both surrendered to God and started following Jesus Christ together in the Fall of 2004. Since then, the Lord has worked an amazing transformation in our lives, marriage, and family. This has allowed us to help families in crisis at the various duty stations we have been assigned to. We have been responsible for leading Bible studies, small groups, Sunday school, worship services, and marriage conferences at several churches and chapels.
OUR FAMILY - All of our children are truly miracles and a blessing from the Lord! After 7 years of infertility and 2 miscarriages, Jesus dramatically healed Gina and restored our ability to have a family! We are now blessed with raising our five children Caitlyn, Julia, Joshua, Lanie, and Claire.
OUR HEART - Over the years we have been privileged to pray for and encourage many couples as they worked through life's challenges. Through our ministry to the military, we saw many couples whose marriages were on the road to destruction. We observed first-hand the devastation of separation and divorce. We feel called to be a part of the solution to the breakdown of families, and seek to reverse the cycle of divorce.
OUR MISSION - We believe ACCTS can make a difference through practical ministry to servicemembers and their families around the entire world! We trust Jesus to help us reach out to those struggling with: Deployment & Separation, Marriage & Divorce, Depression & Suicide, Injuries & Disabilities, and Post Traumatic Stress.
OUR MESSAGE - Give everyone a chance to say YES to following Jesus! Disciple them to know, apply, and proclaim God’s truth. Assist pastors, chaplains, and commanders with caring for the spiritual well-being of troops and families.
We always focus on sharing the Gospel because, "faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God."
